Back-Crackin' Goodness
I've been wearing my snow boots too much lately. I know this because I have bruised the front of my ankles. The FRONT OF MY ANKLES??!?!? I dunno how these things happen to me.
Anywho, I had to walk to work today in my converse shoes because I couldn't stand the boot pain. And if you know anything about the incredible gripping power of converse (which I'm sure you do. This is, in fact, a Portland audience of three or four people I'm addressing here) then you know how fun it would be to walk in slush. Imagine me walking over a bridge in downtown Portland holding onto the side railing with BOTH hands, doubled over and slowly sliding my way across the bridge. People in gripped shoes were passing me on my right every 10 seconds or so. I felt stupid but at least I didn't fall on my butt. And I got to practice my death-glare, which was good, so...
I have a theory that James and I will never fully move into this apartment. It's eternally unfinished. I kind of like it that way though, considering the fact that both of us want to rent a house together when the lease is up next autumn. I figure the random un-unpacked crap will keep us on our toes. Oh, to have a house..... *deep sigh*.
Here are some pictures I thought I'd post. I took these with my brand spanking new digital camera. I know, "Welcome to the nineties, Ashley!"
Kiss my ass.
I like this one cause Minerva looks really annoyed. I would be too if my shoulders were being held up that close to my ears.
This is Stew with a gigantic nose. I think it really depicts his Beagality.
And this one I had to throw in for good measure. I call it "Hayden the Mermaid". It's quite beautiful, really.
(Note James' face in this picture. Excellent.)Mermaid. It's another job we could add to his resume, Sarah :)
(Watch him grow up to be a total stud anyways. These are going to make great wedding pictures. He's going to hate me....... mwa ha ha ha!!!....*wrings hands*...)

Okay so have to admit first off that I too did the slip n slide because I refused to wear my bigger shoes... I'm a stud see and I wanted to look cute even in the snow... I nearly fell on my ass holding Charlotte down my driveway - and to anyone who has seen my driveway you would know that I'm retarded for even holding Charlotte walking down it let alone in the snow with the WRONG shoes on! Oh well - we lived and I looked cute - nuf said!
Hayden does look very "special" in that picture - Sarah you've raised a PRETTY boy! :) Now I would continue this blog - however Charlotte is very much not happy with me because she is turned with her back to me and can't see me.... not a good thing for her! :) Oh and I think she's pooped! Oh fun! :)
I miss the snow.
I do too. I'm ready for more. Always with the more!
As long as there's never a snow day ever again...the kids were going to make me nuts. I've gotten used to leaving the house every day. Stuck in a small house with two kids is not rad.
Amen sista!
